Surrender is a Partner to Risk
Dear Friends,
So much is changing in our world, and yet so much is, blessedly, constant. Today is a bright, crisp, fall day in the mountains, and like last year I am yearning for carved pumpkins, a bowl of my friend Steve’s chili, long sleeves, and fall colors. This time of year, I reliably feel reflective and invigorated, a little more grounded and “cozy.”
What are your inner constants? What are the dimensions of you that you reliably trust? Most importantly, what does that space of trusting yourself feel like in your body? Can you walk around in it, as you receive the ebbs and flows of your day? Can you move with trust into the places that scare you, into the unknowns of your life? How does trusting yourself transform you? How does trusting yourself create new possibility where before there was fear?
We at Phoenix Possibilities are convinced that the cultivation of Trust in the Self is at the very core of our human development, always, but especially now in this passage of human history.
How is Trust developing inside you? Click here and let us know. We’ll publish some responses in the next newsletter.
With Gratitude and Enthusiasm for YOU,
Lucy Morris and Paula Sellars
